Welcome to Viruses of Microbes 2026!

The Viruses of Microbes (VoM) conference is the world’s leading event for research on viruses of microorganisms, including bacteriophages, archaeal viruses, and viruses of microbial eukaryotes. Founded by the International Society for Viruses of Microbes (ISVM) in Paris in 2010, it has grown into a premier gathering for scientists, clinicians, industry leaders, and policymakers.

After successful editions across Europe and recently in Cairns, Australia, VoM 2026 returns to Europe, hosted in Prague, Czech Republic, from July 6 to 10, 2026. Themed "Revealing Novel Interactions, Innovations, and Applications," it will feature cutting edge topics like virus-host interactions, phage therapy, synthetic virology, bioinformatics, and environmental biotechnology.

With 600 to 800 attendees expected, VoM 2026 offers sponsors unparalleled visibility, networking opportunities, and collaboration potential within a rapidly evolving scientific landscape.

Patronage granted

The Governor of the Central Bohemian Region, Mgr. Petra Pecková, is granting patronage to the international microbiological, biotechnology and scientific conference Viruses of Microbes 2026.

Thank you very much!
